Design goal
The design goal of the X-Line series was to achieve the highest fidelity possible in the most demanding of musical systems. The typical obstacle to achieving a natural, life-like sound is the inability of most cables to produce accurate sub-bass in balance with a tube-like lightness which characterises live sound. There are certain principles of electro-magnetic conduction discussed by Heaviside, Poynting and Lenz, which should never be bypassed in cable design. However many mainstream Hi-Fi and High-End cable manufactures overlook these scientific principles, or are simply not aware of them. What we have done is to perfect cable design through technology which properly embraces the electro-magnetic nature of signal propagation and conduction.

Solitone™ Booster
First one in the World!
The latest development of the SOLITONE TEAM is the Solitone Booster. The booster was designed to optimise or electrically fine tune the output of the amplifier to speaker crossover. This enables a transistorised solid-state amplifier with a characteristically ‘hard’ or steely presentation to sound more ‘tube-like.’ It will allow the average tube amplifier to sound even ‘tubier’, in keeping with our single objective of achieving life-like sound.
The Booster can be used in two ways: (1) the first or normal configuration is to insert a Booster between speaker inputs and speaker cable terminals i.e. one for each speaker box. (2)The other is in a bi-wire configuration where a Booster can be inserted between amplifier and speaker cable i.e. connect a Booster to each amplifier output for Left and Right channels, with a bi-wire cable inserted into each Booster. In a bi-wire set up, configuration (1)is also possible, with an additional pair of Boosters.
The Booster along with the Solitone Digital interconnect is also recommended as an ideal ‘tune-up’ for Home Cinema systems.
